Calculating the percent of a number is simple, but can be a bit tricky if you aren't careful. Luckily, it only requires a few basic operations to get to the solution: multiplication and division. **Step 1:**As we know, a whole of something is equal to 100%. In this case, we want to find what 1% of 767 is. We know that 100% of 767 is, well, just 767.**Step 2:**If 100% of 767 is 767, then we can get 1% of 767 by dividing it by 100. Let's do 767 / 100. This is equal to 7.67. Now we know that 1% is 7.67.**Step 3:**Now that we know what 1% of 767 is, we just need to multiply it by 1 to get our solution! 7.67 times 1 = 7.67. That's all there is to it!
